Hola! We are now on our third day in P.V. Our Spanish is improving and we're feeling a lot more comfortable and "at home" here. In the last two days we've spent our time doing various things. The kids are adjusting to no TV, but have found the Internet cafe to catch up with friends. Fortunately, it costs money so they don't sit in front of the computer all day. We have a pool table outside our place so we spend time hanging out there. The front "lobby" is where we hang out at night with the dogs (mastiffs) Stella and Samson. The kids miss Paul and Kia but get their fix with these two. Other than that, Jon and I wake up at the crack of dawn, have coffee, walk the beach, have breakfast. I usually go for a morning run (YES-- even in this unbearable heat!) and then we ususally play on the beach, walk into town or lay around our place. It really is a rough life we have here. We had our first real clear sunny day today so we were on the beach at 9:00 a.m. Jon procured a surfboard from a guy in town. I know.... it's so hard to believe that Jon is making friends with the locals. He has new BFFs!

Buying groceries was quite an experience. Everything was in Spanish so it took twice as long as it normally would. We miss you all, but we are having a great time.

Are any of you reading this? I haven't heard from anyone!!!!! What the heck? I am spending about 1.5 hours of valuable sun time uploading pictures and posting photos. The least you could do is throw me a bone! A simple "hi" "hola" "oi!" ANYTHING! Geeeeeeez!
