Hola! First, I must apologize to all of you for the verbal spanking....this website is supposed to notify me via email every time someone posts on the blog and i haven't received anything. so......lo siento (I'm sorry). I read everyones's posts....muchas gracias!!!! Today I am taking a surf lesson sometime after 8 a.m...(which could be noon...who knows) with a local named Alexander...Jon's new BFF. He's exactly what you would picture....dreads and all! By the way, there are no schedules...no one really is in any hurry. So the "Lisa minute" is working well for me. Later today I am going to the local elementary school and help kids with reading. Hey Mike..I'll make sure to time slip that! hehe We're also going to do some beach clean up (appreciate our lakeshore....these beaches are loaded with garbage) and then later this week go down to a mission called concrete jungle where they have a center for the local kids to hang out. It has skateboard park inside, pool tables, etc. They always need help. The kids are adjusting to no TV. Holden is getting pretty good at pool and body surfing. The girls frolic in the waves and pet every stray dog and horse they see.

I am getting used to a few realities about Costa Rica.....bugs, rain, humidity, and bad hair days EVERYDAY!
