We left Bramwell Station (12/7/12) and headed south stopping at Moreton Telegraph Station, Coen and Musgrave Station before heading Lakefield National Park and to the Hahn River Crossing camp sites. After leaving Seisia we headed back down to the Jardine Ferry. We got to the ferry at morning tea break (we seem to be good at arriving at ferry breaks). We were meant to be heading to Vriliya Beach however the track wasn't good so we went to the Dulhunty River which meant we did part of the telegraph track again and stayed the night. Today was our final day at Seisia. The car was slightly un-coperative again this morning however is doing what it's told again. Was very hot and humid early today (more so than the past few days) so this morning was spent picking up some bits and pieces for the next part of the trip which allowed us to spend some time in air conditioned cars and shops. Yesterday was a rest day. We went to Bamaga to have a look and stopped in at the local shopping centre which consisted of a: supermarket, chemist/newsagency, bamaga dreamtime (surf shop cross variety store). Josh did some minor work on the car. We went to the Seisia markets - small (though the town has a population of 165) and selling jewellery, food and hand-made bags. Today we left Cockatoo Creek and headed for Seisia which is just south of the Cape York tip. We stopped and fed the turtles again and also went to fruit bat falls and had another swim. We then headed to the Jardine Ferry. Unfortunately we arrived two minutes after 12 and the office was closed for lunch.
