We arrive at our hostel in Franz Josef, had dinner and then went to the pub to find the results of the costume prizes for the poo party. After leaving Westport we headed south to a place called Greymouth to pick up our supplies for the Poo Party! Basically in Lake Manhinapua there is nothing to do..the bus literally stops at a pub in the middle of nowehere...and I mean nowhere! An old man called Les puts on a party for the Kiwi Bus everyday with a different theme! Our theme was plastic..so out costume had to made entirely from plastic. After a very quick, 2 hour flight we landed in Christchurch feeling a little bit worse for wear! The first thing we noticed was the difference in temperature..nothing like Australia! It was like stepping off the place at Heathrow! We made it to our hostel and just crashed out for the rest of the day!
