After leaving Westport we headed south to a place called Greymouth to pick up our supplies for the Poo Party! Basically in Lake Manhinapua there is nothing to do..the bus literally stops at a pub in the middle of nowehere...and I mean nowhere! An old man called Les puts on a party for the Kiwi Bus everyday with a different theme! Our theme was plastic..so out costume had to made entirely from plastic. It was like challenge Anika with everyone running around trying to find different colour bin bags!

After our stop at Greymouth we headed straight to the Poo pub..its called the Poo pub as no-one can prnoune Manhinapua! We set to work on our costumes straight away! There was prizes up for grabs for best dressed so we took it seriously! In our little crew..Jo dressed as Lala from the Teletubbies, Panda as Mr Blobby, Kate as Mini Mouse and Gemma as a butterflt and Sophie as a ballerina! We all looked great! The night was so fun as we got to know all the people on our bus really well as we were all stranded together in the middle of no-where! At the end of the night the bar shuts and everyone heads down to the lake!

Panda passed out at this point, Jo went to the lake but they didn't stay long as it was pitch black and freeezzzinnng! Anyway everyone passed out and woke feeling very sore headed the next. We have a knock from Gemma asking what had happened to mini mouse!? Me and Jo had no idea...apparantly mini decided to try and catch eveyone up and go to the lake..however she lost them so started trying to find her way back to the poo pub! somehow she ended up very lost..crawling through fields and over fences! She sat in a field with only her skimpy mini mouse costume on and an umbrella for shelter..as she said she thought she was going to die! haha! She made it home in one piece thanks to a little old lady! mini stumbled across a house at 7am in the morning and woke an old lady up! she was hysterical and said to the old lady can you take me to Les...she had walked 2 miles away from the hostel! she was very cold and bruised but had made it home in one piece!

As a dare the four of us wore our costumes on the bus the next day and got rewarded with Jaeger Bombs..for the oldies...shots! Panda also sported her pj's and wore them into a cafe for breakfast!!
