We arrive at our hostel in Franz Josef, had dinner and then went to the pub to find the results of the costume prizes for the poo party. Panda, to much delight came third and won a free DVD and photo package for a bungy jump, which she soon sold to Sophie for $60 as Panda wasn't doing the bungy. We were all shattered from the poo party and had an early night, all in bed at 10pm!!!

The next day was an early start as we had an 8 hour hike up a glacier in front of us!! We decided to choose the 'unexperienced' group as the 'experienced' group marched ahead-not our cup of tea!! So wandered through a rainforest, then over lots of rocks and we finally made it to ice!!It was hard work as it was obviously all up hill. The views were amazing and we all had fun along the way. A quick stop off sitting on the ice for lunch and we were on our way again. This time it wasn't as tiring, but we were going through tiny crevices which we all squeezed through, apart from Jo who chickened out of one as it was too scary! On the way down it was a lot easier but we all wanted to be home as it had been a long day!! We finally made it home and were happy bunnies to see the showers! We decided a few drinks were on the cards for what we achieved that day, so the drinks were flowing and the drinking games commenced, leading to a very funny night!
