Chilling Day 1

Today we had a wander around to get our bearings of Koh Chang. It seems a lovely chilled out place, that we think we are going to like! However on our walk down to the beach we saw a man that had had a motorbike accident..... the roads here are so bad... we definitely won't be hiring a moped here you will all be pleased to know!

We continued the day by swimming in the pool and playing cards. Its such a luxury to have a pool, we can waste away hours in it!!

We have realised that Reggae is a massive thing in Thailand, and all Thai's just worship Bob Marley!! We spent the night watching a band in 'Shanti Shanti' who had regular smoking breaks and claims of Freedom...Peace...and Love!! RASTAFARI! We then headed to 'Ting Tongs' where a DJ was playing however this was not the main entertainment.... a 50 year old man kept anyone from entertaining the dance floor in fear of being blinded by his eratic hand movements! After staring at this interesting phonomenon we headed back to KLKL Hostel.

On the way home Char's worst nigthmare happened..... a snake slithered across the path in front of us!! But she handled it well and only grabbed onto Matts hand slightly tighter, which is very good for her!!

- Another first for the year today was Matt's first SELF haircut (with a bit of help from Char) - it went well!!
