Tuesday we arrived in Ninh Binh at 3:30 am, we walked very zombiefied to our accommodation and went to bed! Wednesday we boarded our train, we had a little cabin with 6 beds, like trio bunk beds, so it was the 5 of us and a Vietnamese lady. Tuesday we set off at 8:00 for our organised group trip to the Mekong Delta, on route we stopped off to view some big buddha statues then finally arrived in the Mekong at midday. The Mekong Delta is a region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries.
