Day 25! And officially the half way point of our trip. The motel we're staying in has free breakfast, and it's been the best free breakfast we've had so far. They had eggs and sausages and a waffle maker, so of course we took full advantage! Day 24! Another horrible night bus, but I got a bit more sleep than last time. We arrived in Atlanta at 8am, and managed to leave our bags at a hotel for the day which was so good of them since we weren't customers. Thanks Crowne Plaza! Day 23! Today we had our swamp and plantation tour. We went for breakfast first at the French Marketplace and had a proper southern breakfast - crispy bacon, eggs 'sunny side up', hash browns and a biscuit. It was so good but so much food! First off was the swamp tour, which was so cool! The tour guide had a proper Cajun accent, which I loved. Day 22! Update on the night bus: it was terrible. It was so uncomfortable and cold (apparently they have no control over the A/C) that we got no sleep, and arrived in New Orleans at 6.30am a very grumpy bunch. Day 21! We woke up this morning cockroach free, which was a plus. Maybe because we slept with the lights on in the hope that they'd stay away from the light haha. We headed for a laundromat so we could wash our clothes - I was literally on my last tshirt because nowhere we've been for the last week and a half has had anywhere to wash them!
