So Friday morning I wake up to a voice message from the reef people saying we've missed our pick up which is funny as we're not booked in till tomorrow. Immediately we go downstairs to check on this only to find the tour desk closed until Monday - oh dear! So then we venture to reception who can't help either and direct us to another tour company next door.
We spoke to the lady there who claimed she also couldn't help. Eventually we managed to persuade her to call them to find out and turns out we are ok and they will be back for us tomorrow morning - fingers crossed!
From there we decided to go for a wonder and to pick up my underwater camera which I was hiring for the reef tour the next day, stopping for a Big Mac on route. Unfortunately not a lot else was open due to the fact it was Anzac Day.
We also got a crunchie mcflurry and sat on the sea wall for a bit until it decided to pour with rain meaning a quick run back to the hostel.
We sat for a bit reading books, waiting for the rain to stop but it didn't so went downstairs for dinner and then to the corner shop for snacks before being boring and having an early night.
