We were woken up at 8:30 today (again) by the kids playing rugby in the school playground over the fence from our site!

Dave decided he wanted to see a doctor as a few little niggles were concerning him and we thought it was best to go while in a big place like Nelson. We went to the I-Site and were directed to an out-of-hours place that takes non-Nelson residents. $110 later, Dave was reassured that he had nothing nasty, and we went on our way.

Back in town, we went online again at an internet café and read all of Dave's birthday messages on facebook. We also contacted a few HelpX hosts in Adelaide - we're hoping to get a bit of free accommodation while we're there, in exchange for a few hours work a day.

After a bit of clothes shopping (stocking up for summer in Oz!), we visited the supermarket, and then went back to the campsite for some dinner, a shower and a few more hours sleep!

At 4pm we went to the pictures to see 'One Day' which had just come out in NZ (5 months after the UK!). We both enjoyed the film, both having read the book a while ago.

Back at the site we watched TV for the rest of the night - X Factor USA, The Graham Norton Show and Ab Fab from 1992!
