We had originally planned to go to the springs in Hanmer today, but after checking the weather forecast last night, we decided to put it off for a few days and wait for the weather to warm up. We woke up to pouring rain so it was probably a good decision!

After breakfast, we drove into town for a coffee at Powerhouse Café and used their free wifi for an hour. Then we headed to the Four Square supermarket for some supplies - we'd decided to take advantage of the campsite's video collection and have a film day.

The first film of the day was the first LOTR instalment - I'm trying to get Laura to appreciate them! This was followed by 'Children of a Lesser God', about a deaf woman and a teacher who wants to try and teach her to speak. Two good films, and a brilliant way to spend a rainy day!

In the evening we headed back to the TV room and found another couple who'd had the same idea as us, and were watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, so we ended up watching our third film of the day!
