As today was our last day :( we decided to make the most of the sun before we get to cold New Zealand. We spent all morning by the pool then at lunch we had a nice chat with an American couple and an English couple who had spent 6 weeks in NZ and reckon they saw it all so 3 months will be too long for us (we don't think so! This came from the guy who says he goes to America every year and spends £1-2k on clothes as they're so cheap...).

In the afternoon we sat by the pool for a bit then played some more chess (I'm getting good!). At dinner we sat with 2 families from NZ and had a good chat about our travels, and we discovered that one of the women has family in Middlesbrough and that she is related to someone Dave taught last year - small world! They were all really friendly and gave us lots of advice about NZ.

After dinner it was International Crab racing again but unfortunately this week neither of our crabs made it to the final. We went to bed early and read for a while then went to sleep at 10pm - rock n roll!
