Today we spent another lazy day relaxing by the pool, making the most of the sun while we can! After lunch we went snorkelling, now that the Ocean had calmed down a bit. The highlight of the snorkelling was seeing the massive school of yellow and black striped fish feeding on the coral, while a bigger multicoloured fish swam into them to try and make them go away! It was amazing to watch.
After that, we went back to our loungers by the pool for a while then played a few more games of chess by the bar. When we went back to the dorm to try and nap we found it had been taken over by old people....well people of the age that we don't normally see in dorms! They seemed to be in one big group and were talking Spanish to each other. This made us miss the people we'd said goodbye to while we've been here - it was much better with them in the dorm!
After we'd had showers one of the women asked if we minded if she asked to turn the air con off as she thought it would be cold. Dave and another English girl said it was fine but I was thinking 'noooooooooo!', knowing it would be far too hot in the night without it (luckily the management must have said no as it was still on when we went to bed!).
Dinner that night was my favourite meal from last week - aubergine soup followed by chicken stirfry in filo pastry baskets with rice - yum! So I was very happy! After dinner it was movie night and the choices were 1) Little Miss Sunshine, 2) Unknown, 3) Blues Brothers. We voted for 3, but 2 won so we ended up watching the Liam Neeson film that Dave watched on the flight to New York! It was actually better than I thought and I managed to stay awake through it all! We went straight to bed after, to find all the Spaniards fast asleep and one old man snoring - so it took us a bit longer to get to sleep than usual!
