We were supposed to be waking up at 7.30 to Skype Caitlyn, but I checked Facebook and she wanted to change it to Thursday, so I think we both enjoyed the extra little lie in.
All I have to eat at the moment is rice, and various things to mix it with, and because I know I will soon have to throw nearly a whole bag away to go on the flight down to Melbourne, I don't want to buy anything else, so breakfast today was rice and hummus.
We got the bus into town, where I posted my big box of paraphernalia which I couldn't bear to throw away. I had to list every single item, and wasn't allowed to post the kangaroo Josh gave me because it had batteries in it, so lumbered Alice with it in her bag (I think there were a few moments she had to tactfully get her purse out without risking showing it). We tried some sushi from 'My Sushi' which was the best contender to Sushi Paradise here, but still not as good.
We kept getting conflicting advice on booking flights, but it's the start of the school holidays on Friday (when we wanted to book it) so it's a bit more than it usually is, so we booked it for Thursday evening, although it was still quite pricey at $166. Apparently if it's saved in your history you've searched for flights on the dates you want, they know you are interested in it and so put prices up!
Rachel (the manager's girlfriend), Alice and I enjoyed ladies night at Sin City- you pay $10 and then girls get free drinks all night. We didn't experiment much with what options you get, but it seemed like you could choose whatever you wanted. I think it balances out as the boys we went with said that their drinks were expensive to pay for ours!
