We spent Monday to the following Tuesday in Pai and actually didn't do that much. We had a very relaxing week with our hotel overlooking the mountains and sunbathed and read by the pool every day. One day Kerry and I both got elephant tattoos and then went for lunch with our tattoo artist! We got on the back of their motorbikes and they took us to this local restaurant along the river. It was beautiful and full of locals no tourists at all. Another day we also took a day trip to visit a Lod Cave which was cool and was full of bats and we also visited a natural hot springs and a waterfall as well. At the end of the day trip we were taken to Pai Canyon which had amazing views and we watched the sunset from there.
We left Pai on the Tuesday morning and arrived in Chiang Mai around midday where we met up with our friends we met on the volunteer programme ready for Songkran!
