At 4am on Friday we arrived in Ninh Binh. It was pitch black and we had to walk down deserted roads with no lights to find our hostel. It was very scary but we managed to find it in the end. We checked into the room and slept for a bit and then spent the day looking around the area. We also booked a tour for the next day.

The next morning we were picked up by motorbikes at 10am and we went to bust Trang An. We took a 2 hour boat ride around it and it was beautiful. The boat took us through many low hanging caves and we had to duck down so far so that we didn't bang our heads but it was really cool! After the tour we got the motorbikes back to the hotel and then took an evening train to Hanoi.
