We arrived back to Thailand on the Tuesday and met up with the girls Gem and Molly that we had met on the elephant volunteer week. We went and bought water guns and then joined in the water fight that was already happening in the streets even though it was a day early. We then walked to a nearby hotel where a pool party was being held. We all bought the unlimited drink package and we stayed there for the rest of the night,eating, drinking, swimming and dancing! The party stopped at 10pm so after this we went to a karaoke bar, joined in with all the songs and then went home around midnight!

The hotel we had booked had no aircon only a fan and it was so hot in our room we barely slept. It was unbearable so Kerry and I decided to move hotels, we found one around the corner and checked in as soon as we could, slept for a it in a much cooler room and then met the girls for lunch! We spent the day again in massive water fights in the streets with music and drinking it was so much fun! We went for a Mexican dinner with the girls in the evening and then had a relatively quiet night as we planned to go out the next evening.

The next day consisted of the same thing! Partying in the streets, getting soaked and drinking cocktails! We did this most of the day and then came back to our hotel dried off, had dinner and then had drinks in our hotel room with the girls. We played games and then went out later on to a bar around the corner called Zoe's. It was amazing, an outside dance floor with water being sprayed everywhere, we danced all night until it closed!

The next day we slept in a bit, had lunch and then had to get a taxi to another hostel where we would be getting the overnight bus to Bangkok. It was awful as the festival was still going on and as they are open taxis we were targeted big time! We were absolutely drenched by the time we got to the other hostel, but we had our bags so changed into our dry clothes and caught our bus to Bangkok at 8pm which would arrive in Bangkok at 6am. When we arrived we got a taxi straight to the airport where we had to wait all day for our flight which was at 3pm to Vietnam!
