06/11/21 We are now at Black Bear RV Park in McCall ID after driving 120 miles. The drive was beautiful through valleys and mountains to a picturesque town at over 5000 feet altitude next to a beautiful lake. The campground is owned by a young couple with three children who previously traveled the country in an RV and have worked hard to make this place very nice. 06/08/21 We drove route 26, route 7, and finally I85 for 129 miles to reach Farewell Bend State Park in Ontario OR, which is on the Snake River (the border between Oregon and Idaho). 06/07/21 We drove 117 miles to Grant County Fairgrounds in John Day OR. My only other experience with fairgrounds was in Colorado. We were surrounded by cement. But this fairgrounds is wonderful. Trees, level campsites, a brook, places to walk the dog and again really nice people.
