06/07/21 We drove 117 miles to Grant County Fairgrounds in John Day OR. My only other experience with fairgrounds was in Colorado. We were surrounded by cement. But this fairgrounds is wonderful. Mike figured out why my solar panels were working sporadically, bad connector on the solar extension cords but I can still get the panels to work without them, just at a more limited distance from the RV. 06/03/21 After one more trip to the main building and Tellamook ice cream for breakfast (and why not), we drove along the coast to Newport, filled with fuel, and drove to Rosie's family farm. We are staying at another Harvest Hosts called Blue Heron French Cheese Company. They have a huge open field to park in and there were 17 RVs here with plenty of room to spare.
