06/17/21 We are driving through high plateaus at over 6000 feet. Although we are driving an interstate highway, we are getting back to enjoying the vistas. We stopped for gas at Little America which originally was a small chain of hotels I used years ago when I traveled for work to Salt Lake City. 06/16/21 We drove back to Salt Lake City to pick up I80 to go through the mountains for 125 miles until we reached the KOA Lyman Campground in Lyman WY. The temperature is still over 90 but did cool off a little at night. This was a nice campground with another beautiful sunset. For this drive, Shannon required a full dose of the second level medication. We are both recovering from yesterday's events. It was a quick dinner and an early night.

06/15/21 The day started as a normal day with no hint of what was to come. We drove 176 miles to Harvest Host Shady Brewery in Salt Lake City. We got gas and stopped at a rest stop to make the trip less stressful for Shannon. The parking lot was dirt, small and uneven. 06/14/21 First thanks to all of you who have texted, commented, or called about Shannon. She is happier now that we are on interstate highways that are flatter and have less turns, albeit less scenic for the driver. We are also driving fewer miles each day. She is still anxious but not frantic. We are drugging her on the lowest dose possible and she is back to her normal self when we are at the campgrounds.
