We tried to leave early the next morning but once again our car had a dead battery. Apparently the battery charger is not working as expected so Wayne allowed us to jump the car from their RV. Then we were finally on the road to New Orleans. We are finding that our GPS will route us differently than their GPS. So we have decided whoever is in the lead picks the route and the other RV follows. We are usually driving at 60 mph and stopping for fuel every 250-300 miles (which means at least daily). For us, we fill with $80-90 of gasoline and Wayne/Patti fill with over $100 of diesel.
That afternoon we went to visit Sandy’s mom who lives 75 miles from New Orleans. It was such a wonderful visit even if it was only for a couple of hours. Thank you Shirley!
This time we are staying at a beautiful Harvest Hosts called Faubourg Brewery. Free the first night and $20 the second night. Friendly staff. On weekends they have tours, music, and food but not during the week. So we just drank some beers. A huge section of the parking lot is saved just the RVs.

Lori Just catching up on all the adventures! I'd heard about the harvest host program, sounds like a nice place to stop for a night or so. With all the big repairs done I hope you can enjoy smooth sailing from here on out! We are hoping to get to New Orleans some day, looking forward to hearing about your highlights there😊 As ring must show you the neighborhood is quiet as usual. Enjoy the much anticipated travels Diane❤
