The least glamorous part of RV life. We dumped the black and gray tanks before we left this campground. Most of our sites have been full hookups which include electric, water, and dumping. Today we drove 218 miles to our next sites at Rain Spirit RV Campground in Clarkdale AZ, 20 miles from Sedona. It’s a small campground, filled with mostly big rigs (Class A). It has a lot of amenities but lots of rules. The management is nice and helpful. We unhooked both the car and the truck. We took a short drive in the truck to Clarkdale and Jerome. The road to Jerome is not for the faint of heart, curved and steep. And Jerome streets were narrow too. But the view from there was the whole valley. However the best was yet to come. We stopped for ice cream half way back. I have seen many sunsets but this one was truly spectacular. First the sun highlighted the hills, then the sky turned all shades of yellow, gold, pink, and red, in all directions. This picture was only the end of it.
