Kyles worldwide travels
Hello all,
I forgot to tell you all about my time at the Iguazu falls...it was amazing. The force of the water is awesome, i couldn't believe the power they had. We spent the first day on the Brazil side which is rather impressive but then we went to the Argentina side for the second day and boy do they have it good over there...i bet the Brazilians are heaps jealous of the view from the other side!!
We took a boat trip into the falls, and they weren~t kidding when they said INTO the falls. The drive was mad...he looked like a Colombian drug runner with his seedy moustache and cheeky grin!! He backed the boat right into the falls...we couldn~t see a bloody thing and all we could do was laugh - thank god the water tasted nice and wasn~t that bad for you cause i think i drank a fare bit.
Ok so after our time in Foz De Iguazu we headed across the boarder into Paraguay and stayed in Asuncion which is the capital city of Paraguay, so that meant another stamp in my passport (its getting a bit full now!!). Asuncion is allot like our capital city - not a bloody lot to do and bloody well hot - we managed temps of around 40, which is a killer!!! The city is a bit of a concrete jungle so there wasnt a great deal of water to laze around in so we hiked it out of town about 1,5 hours and found a pool in another hotel...so in the end i got a bit more of a tan and had a big feed.
Our next stop was Bonito which is where i am now...i really like it here. The people are really friendly and we have had a great time relaxing. Yesterday we went on a floating tour...which means we simply got into wetsuits (not a pretty sight for any of us!!) and snorkels and floated down stream in the most amazing river i have ever been in...the water was crystal clear and heaps and heaps of fishes - and of course the guide was really cute so that made it easy to follow him!!!
Today we head to the Pantanon which apparently is full of mozzies...something to look forward to!!! I won~t be able to email for a couple of days so i hope you are all safe and loving the warm weather as much as i am.
