Well i must say that seeing as i had to spend Christmas away from home, this is the way to do it... Rio is absolutely gorgeous, and the weather is great (except Christmas day it rained non stop...that would be right!!). I spent the day with a really wonderful but somewhat odd bunch of people. Hello all, Leaving Binto was hard, as it was so clean and friendly. We now headed to the Pantanal, which is a large wetland the size of France. We had a private bus take us to the Pantanal, which got bogged due to the rain which didn't want to stop. We were all ready to get out and push the bus (well ok it was only a mini van..but still!!) but our useless tour guide didn't want to get out and push so no one was aloud out of the bus...the poor driver spent...
