Feels weird to back on the road behind a steering wheel again. Rid bikes nearly everyday in Asia which were a lot more fun, but sitting, changing gear and driving a much bigger car than my Aygo feels a bit alien.. The hardest thing to get my head around is the indicators on the right, rather than the left.. So instead of indicating left.. I send my whippers into overdrive!
Driving here is a lot different than the uk. The only thing I can compare it to is the US, how wide and long they are, also driving up the coast how there's literally nothing In between each city, maybe a small town with an old American style petrol station with one pump, and a corner shop for milk..
The first night was an experience to say the least.. We had been driving for about 5.5 hours from Perth and by the time we got to where we were supposed to be camping, we couldn't actually find it.. There was a sign.. But it was pitch black. So we abandoned that and found a caravan park and pitched up a brand new tent in the dark.. Well it turns out it's still pretty cold at night here.. Our cheap sleeping bags didn't do much for us sadly.!
One problem were still trying to figure out is how exactly were gonna keep the beers cold..
