We travelled to shunukville and met up with Malte who we met in Laos. He'd just returned from koh Rong the island just off the cost which co-incidentally was our next destination; and showed us some pretty bad bites and told us the island had a bed bug outbreak and he'd had to get a new bag and and clothes... So we decided to swerve koh rong and head to Kampot just south for a few days till we knew what we were doing.
In Kampot we rented out a 4 geared semi-automatic motorbike and rode to the national park up and through the mountains. The views at the top were amazing where we also found an old church and waterfall. Coming down was a lot of fun... Until it started to absolutely piss it down.. And I of course I had no jacket or poncho... Not fun.
