Tonight is the game we've been waiting all week to see, but before that we've still got a day in the city.
Emily and I caught up with an old friend and her handsome son for lunch. It's great when you catch up with people you haven't seen for ages and it feels like you saw them yesterday!!
Em and I then decided to head back to Queens Wharf and wait 45 mins to go inside the giant rugby ball. 150% worth the wait. Inside was a 180 degree visual explosion that took you on a virtual tour of NZ. It even came complete with a guide who was a famous actor in NZ who has been in something Emily has seen before. Since I couldn't really go up and say "hey guy from a thing my sister might have seen you in", there were no photos taken.
Again, we hit the FanTrail, this time leaving a little earlier so we could take our time. We travelled in a sea of black, with patches of Argentinian blue far and few between. It turns out yesterday was just a practice run because today is where it's happening! I decided to wait in line to get my face painted, one staunch fern on half of my face thanks!! While waiting I jokingly say I'd better check to make sure we've got Sundays tickets. Turns out it wasn't that funny as I had two tickets to Saturdays game. Hold the phone, WTR (What The Ruck) FREAK OUT MODE. We paused for a second and then turned and started running back to our hotel. I do some quick maths, 40mins till kick off + hotel 2.5k away = way too late. Out comes the phone, taxi is called, taxi is caught back to the hotel, the right tickets are picked up, dropped off at Eden Park, run to our seats, sit down and the teams run out. Crisis averted, hi fives all round. That stress was nothing compared to the ABs first half, OMG!! But they kept at it and came through in the second half hitting their stride. What a game and what a result. Piri is the man, and was the well deserved man of the match! And ol Milsy getting 100 test caps, awesome!!!!

Bring it on Australia, our boys are ready and waiting!!!!! Go the Bros!!!!!!!
