This morning I woke up to a pretty bad pain in my kidney. I tried to wait it out, and managed to get back to sleep once, but the pain kept getting worse and woke me up again. It was so bad! I ended up having to wake up Darren, and he messaged Pancho, who drove to pick us up and took us to the hospital. We checked in at the emergency, then had to wait for ages to see someone. It was so horrible, I had to just sit there in pain for a couple of hours or something! I didn't take any painkillers, because I didn't know what was going on! Eventually I got called in, and they found out I had a pretty bad infection in the tube that goes from your kidney to your bladder, which is something I used to get as a kid, but haven't had for so many years! So annoying! But I don't remember the pain being so bad when I was younger! The doctor scanned my kidney to make sure it was ok, then prescribed me some antibiotics and painkillers. After that, we got back in the car and drove to the pharmacy to pick up my drugs, then went back to Pancho's, where I waited for the sweet sweet painkillers to kick in! I drank massive amounts of tea and water to help flush it out, then Pancho went back to Nina's, and Darren and I spent the day lazing on the couch watching movies. We watched Van Wilder, then a sci-fi called Sunshine. Then after we had a snooze we watched Scary Movie 1 and 2, then Juno. Darren went out to get us some food from the shop on the corner, and I ate some veggies, and we chilled out for the rest of the night before going back to sleep.
