Well one of us aches this morning and it isn't Richard! He does however like to watch and laugh as I waddle down the street!

Today we headed to Lake Taupo. Our first stop was to the airport to book a skydive. Unexpectedly they had two spaces available today...around an hour after we arrived. We decided to go ahead with the sky dive especially as it gave one of us (no guesses for who) little time to chicken out. Before we knew it we were kitted up, strapped onto another human and in a plane. The views from the plane alone were worth the money and we even had to wear oxygen masks as we ascended to 15000ft!

We free falled for a minute before our parachutes opened and we glided back down to earth. It was a complete thrill and was an amazing experience. We even bought the video and photo package and had another person jump in front of us to film us free falling. It means we can relive it all over again!

After the buzz was over we checked into our camp site which had its own thermal hot springs which we visited to soothe our aching muscles from yesterday's hike. Overall an adrenaline fuelled day!
