we walked to Mirabell gardens which was laid out in 18th century by a Prince Archbishop for his mistriss, the gardens also featured in The sound of music where they sang Do Re Mi.
We then walked up steep hill to a fortress. inside the castle was a war musuem which i didnt find that interesting. we looked through a small puppet musuem with the ugliest puppets we had ever seen.
we did a tour where you listen to an audio guide- so everyone looked strange walking around with a phone to their ear. at the top of the fortress we got some amazing views. we rode on the funicular from the fortress down the hill. we walked around a bit before heading back to the hostel
