hey everyone from port macquarie!!! what a gorgeous place this is!!! we arrived latish in the evening and got picked up to stay at ozzie pozzie backpackers. it was a small but very nice backpackers and about a 15 min walk to the town area. the town area itself has a big harbour with a load of nice boats and also a big group of dolphins that are often seen around. in fact the 2nd day there we walked over a small bridge to town and a dolphin swam right under the bridge and out to the harbour. it was an amazign site as its as close as we have come to one in the wild. port macquarie itsself it not a particularly busy place but more aof a family getaway from sydney. still it had some beautifull bars and fish and chip shops along the way. while we were there we went out on a sunset cruise around the harbour and up the river. we grabbed a bag of fish and chips and a few beers and went a board.some of the houses that we passed along the cruise was amazing. they were huge houses that backed onto the river and straight onto there yachts or large boats. lucky b*****s. but apart form the jealousy of these people the cruise was gorgeous and when the sun went down we managed to get some great pictures of some beautifull sunsets with the clouds. we will upload them asap for you. other then the boat trip we went witha few people to a small zoo type place where we stroked a baby croc, saw loads of quality koala bars and also hand fed some little wallabys. we got some good pics of them to. on the way back from the zoo we stopped of at a local winery and sampled some of the wine that they made on site. there were some very nice ones i must say. hannah also took a shine to them aswell. also while we were there we once again played a spot of bowls and also went to see some more koala bears at the koala hospital. there were all kinds of ill koalas there but they all seemed in good nick. well thats it from there on to newcastle and lets see what happens............
