(still in thailand...Koh Phangan!)

In Koh Phangan we spent probebly half a day on the beach but the weather was very depressing and decide rain the rest of the time, despite this our half day in the sun was pleasant! We booked a boat trip but it got cancelled twice due to the bed weather so spent most of our time bar hopping (The bars played friends and family guy so it kept us amused for a bit!).

In the evenings we headed out too the bars but they were very dead and offering lots of free drinks...we wondered why untill we reached the beach! Here they were selling buckets with a quarter bottle of spirits with a mixer for very cheap, so this explained everything. Needless to say Kerry and I sampled a couple :)!

The rain wasn't a complete set back as kerry and I did manage to sample a couple of traditional Thai massages which were a mixture between pleasure and pain. We headed off to Phuket on the evening of 8th March on the night ferry (which was an adventure in itself...very rough!)
