I wasn't quite sure if I was looking forward to Surfers or not, I'd heard so many people slating it but decided just to go check it out for myself. In contrast to Byron of course it seems very tacky and touristy, high rise buildings everywhere and tour shops trying to sell you everything. The beach itself was actually really nice I thought, if you just walked a few minutes down the beach you were almost isolated and the sea was the warmest I'd been in yet in Australia. I decided to do one of the club crawls at night...that was an experience I'll never forget! It was more sleazy than you could imagine and I was actually cringing most of the night, sex position games by 7pm and I was lucky enough to be asked for a kiss by a few absolute scanks...I told them where to go though J Met a decent Irish group in the end though so had a laugh with them. It was only a brief visit as I knew I was coming back with Nick.
