I love Noosa, it's such a beautiful place. I wouldn't mind living here, I spotted so many gorgeous waterfront houses...I just need to start working on my 'get rich quick' plan!! Haha. I stayed for 4 nights this time, as I had a brief visit when Nick came over in Jan but we only stayed one night and that was at Sunshine beach. This time I stayed at the Nomads (which has just taken over the Koala Resort) but it was a good base as right near the shops and then just a short walk over the hill to the main beach, national park and main strip of cafes and shops! I was really lucky with the weather and nearly everyday was perfect! Noosa was the perfect place to chill, even though I have no money left I could enjoy the beach, calm waters and the national park for free!! The Coastal Track through the National Park is just amazing!! Absolutely stunning. I spotted a Koala sleeping in the trees on my way round, I also looked for dolphins but didn't manage to see any this time round. The track was about 12km return up and down hills and also part across Alexandra Bay, which turned out to be a nudist beach...I had no warning of this! Until I was suddenly forced to look away as I saw too many fat, old men with nothing on..ewwwwwww. When I reached Sunshine beach I stayed for a couple of hours to embrace the emptiness and sunshine and read my book and slept. It was exactly what I needed.
The next day I just hung at the beach. That evening I went for a run, I decided to run the coastal track as its quite challenging with its ups and down but also was accompanied by the beautiful views which helped to keep you going. This trip has confirmed how I definitely want to always live by the sea...I love it too much. I ran for an hour as the sun was setting...the colours were absolutely incredible. One of the best sunsets I have seen, though sadly I didn't have my camera as I was running!
I felt a bit of a bore during the evenings as I had a lot of young travellers in my room, who have just started their travelling, where obviously you are so keen to meet people and everyones drinking together etc but I am just at the point now where I can't be arsed...I have already made so many amazing friends on this trip and with only a few days to go I am happy enough to just chill out myself and read or watch films! Also its good to give me body a break from the alcohol from the rest of the Coast!
I also went to see SEX AND THE CITY 2 on the night of its release out here!! Absolutely hilarious I loved it!
Next stop: To Brisbane for my last few days in Australia!!!
