As Tim drops me off at the airport I manage to keep stong and hold back the tears...it feels so emotional leaving Australia after being here for ten months. I am so excited to be coming home and seeing everyone but still I had a sickening feeling in my gut. Though I had a really great last week in Brisbane so it just added to all my amazing times.

The first couple of nights I checked into a hostel where I met Katie, who lives near where my family are from, like in normal backpacker fashion we soon decided to go out for a few drinks so shared a box of Goon! We met her friend Michael and had a really fun night out in Bris. The next day she sadly was off but Michael and I hung out. We got the CAT ferry all along the river. It was really nice and showed a different side to Brisbane. The weather was amazing too. We hit up the valley that night and did a few too many shots!

The next afternoon Tim came and picked me up and this is where I spent my last days, it was so nice to spend some more time together though sad because I knew in reality it was coming to an end. He was kind enough to let me stay for a few days, even took me out for a lovely dinner on my last night and of course it was nice having a friendly face drop me to the airport at the end of my trip.

Goodbye Australia...you will be missed greatly...I WILL BE BACK XXXX
