After a leisurely morning we left windy Ceduna at about 10am and travelled down the Eyre Peninsula. We stopped at Streaky Bay for morning tea, walked down the jetty and watched a family fishing competition, not much being caught but everyone was having a great time! Streaky Bay had a really good atmosphere! From here we drove further south, it got very windy along the way and the landscape changed to low scrub, no trees, desert like landscape. The plan today was to have a short travel day. We stopped off at Venus Bay to have lunch at the waters edge in the caravan but it was a very wind swept place so had our sandwiches and a cuppa, took some pics and then we continued on to Port Lincoln. It is very nice here, quite a big town, the temperature is great at the moment so we plan to stay here for a few days.
