We left early thos morning to drive to the Adelaide Airport to pick up Daniel. He has joined us for about 10 days while we travel from Adelaide through South Australia to Melbourne in Victoria. Because we were already in the city we decided to spend the day in Adelaide. We drove to beautiful Glenelg and had some morning tea at a playground near the Marina. Then we walked to Moseley Square, a great place situated right in front of the Glenelg Jetty with the beautiful Glenelg beach stretching out either side of it! We decided to catch a tram from Moseley Square, to the centre of the City of Adelaide. We walked a couple of blocks from the tram drop off point to parkland on the edge of the Torrens River and we had a picnic lunch surrounded by Black Swans and other bird life. After lunch the two boys decided to wrestle Dad which didn't work out too well for them, but we had fun! We walked along the river and then back up to catch the tram that returned us back to our car in Glenelg. We really liked Adelaide, it seems really well designed and set out, has lots of parkland around it, including the beautiful Torrens River. In my opinion Adelaide is the most beautiful city in Australia. Yes it's a big call, but that's just my opinion. Great place!
