After yesterday's extreme heat we decided to set the alarm for 4am this morning for an early start. We were awake before the alarm went off and packed up and on the road by 4.15am. As it turned out, when we crossed the border only 18km down the road, we had to put our clocks forward two and a half hours, so it was a good thing we left early! This morning in Eucla it was actually quite cool, but by 10am the heat had returned back up to the 40's! We had an un-eventful drive across the last part of the Nullabor arriving in Ceduna early this afternoon. We plan to stay here for just one night and tour around the Eyre Peninsula over the coming days. We were very impressed with our Zuki, the Temperatures were very extreme and it performed perfectly. We saw all brands of late model cars towing caravans broken down on the side of the Nullabor yesterday. Our car never ran hot and the air conditioning worked great keeping us cool! Impressive!
