Yay for only having one hour of class on Thursdays! After a very easy morning, I came back home and got ready for the day; I cleaned a little too. Alice came back a little later because she has two classes today. Around 3pm, we ate lunch...or tried to. It was a soybean and chicken soup. I couldn't eat it and had to force it down. I'm not a huge fan of beans, especially soybeans. I should probably tell Lola that I don't like it, but I feel bad telling her that I don't like something she has prepared for us.

After lunch, I skyped my sister for a while and relaxed until we had to meet at the post office for dinner with our director. Toñi, our director, hasn't been able to be with us yet this semester because her husband is very sick with bone cancer. We hadn't had the opportunity to meet with her yet, so she organized a dinner for us to do so. We went to a cervercería (beer pub). We had a lot of tapas (appetizers) including khalamari, tortilla de patata (our favorite), and ensaladas with tuna, eggs, tomatos, pickles, and lettuce. I was having rib pain, so dinner was a little rough, but afterwards, we grabbed some ice cream and came home to rest before going out.

We started out at a small bar in La Plaza Mayor. The drinks were rather expensive, so we didn't stay there long. The bars here are MUCH smaller than back home and the interior is made of complete brick. It kind of feels like a cave. After leaving the first bar, we went to Divina Comedia. This bar was adorable. It also had brick ceilings, stone walls, and a huge chandelier. The drinks here were really cheap so we stayed for quite awhile. It was fun to just be with some of the group members and we had quite the time taking pictures.

Around 2am, we decided to head to the discoteca, but unfortunately, I was still in pain and there was a cover charge, so I decided to come home. We finally got to bed around 330am when Alice came home. Tomorrow we don't really have many plans, but will see where the day takes us. Ciao!
