Bath , Cardiff
Went and had a look at the ruins of the Abbey at Glastonbury. This is the sight of King Arthurs tomb. Got taken into the cookhouse which still stands entached. A man dressed as a monk went through exactly how things were done in those days. Quite interesting. Then we drove onto Bath and saw the Roman Baths. The romans created a large complex which is still flowing with natural hot water. You can smell the sulpher. The baths are below street level Then onto Cardiff. Our hotel was right in the middle. 5 minutes walk to the castle and milliumen stadium. I went to the castle next day and Peter , Jan and Wally went to look at the stadium. There were moasic pictures of some of the playing nations. Disappointed they didnt get to walk on the grass. I found Cardiff Castle very interesting. (Better than footy fields haha.) Hard to believe the castle is right in the middle of the town. When you walk in the gates you are into another world
