I am totally in awe! I basically knew nada about this circle of stones except that they may have been some sorcery involved.... Who knows?!?

So armed with our audio tour guide, picture mobile phones circa 1991, I opened my mind ready to accept all the facts. It's seems so bizarre to imagine what life would have been 4500 years ago. And what possessed these sophisticated prehistoric people to decide to build this ancient temple with giant rocks. But I'm sure glad they did.

The sun was shining and the paths we over run with thousands, well maybe a hundred at most, tiny humans in high vis ecstatic to be out of the classroom. Some of the best people watching I've ever done. Kids really do say the darnedest things!

Although our lovely audio lady did present some solid evidence, I wouldn't be surprised if aliens played a part... Just saying.
