Origin: German
Fear of embarking on something new; fear of crossing a threshold
Third and final flight! Obviously delirious by this stage I proceeded to try and kick some people out of their seats but was quickly escorted to my assigned seat as was holding up the flow of traffic. Window seat in an emergency row. Leg room and bathroom breaks whenever I want.
Surprise!! Second breakfast! Asked for eggs, got pancakes. You win some you lose some.
Flight was relatively uneventful to say the lease. Although the two gentleman flight attendants whose station was right in front of me were very camp and very entertaining.
On landing we were delayed on the tarmac, where I was amused but the afore mentioned attendants attempting to communicate to a large number of non English speaking passengers who proceeded to retrieve their luggage from overhead. Solid 5 minute distraction.
Then as we arrived at the gate, we were informed that immigration would be boarding. Three armed police board the aircraft and proceed to my row. Shat my pants. Nothing to worry about obviously but still. Questioning the ethnic gentleman next to me, searching his seat, then escorting him to collect his checked luggage. Thank god there wasn't a tv crew there for an airline show because by this point I looked so bad it could be criminal.
Shared a few more non verbal moments with my 2 new besties, the attendants, about the happenings before sharing our final goodbye glances.
Now comes the part where I attempt to join the others with no wifi and having made no meetin place. Classic Katrina. Who do I run into as i joined the immigration line? Natalie and Katrina of course! BOOM! Destiny!!
Breezing through customs, grabbing our bags and straight onto the tube.
London... I don't think your ready for this jelly!
