Desiring or seeking powerful change in one’s life, behavior, or situation
To the Pandas!!! (Nat is very excited to see the pandas) Awkward though as apparently there are no pandas at London Zoo. Ah well, off to our first Harry Potter filming location then. The reptile house. And yes we did recreate the vanishing glass at the snake enclosure.... DUH!
I do love a good zoo! And there were so many animals that I hadn't seen before. Red ibis... WHAT?!?!? Flamingoes... RIGHT ON!! And the pigmy hippos!! Even though I had seen them before I was definitely squealing like a kid with excitement. There just so cute!! But my fav was a okapis! What's that I hear you ask?!? Well according to Nat it's a 'zebra', apparently it's related, but it's not. It so much prettier!!!! It's like Bambi, a horse, a mouse and a zebra had a baby.... Over several generations of course. Four way baby? That's legit right??? Mental!
I do have to give a shout out to the signage department at the Zoo as well. I'm not sure if people are really stupid or the guy designing them just has a great sense in humor. The sign at the tiger enclosure had a picture of a steak with legs that reads "This is how a tiger sees you". And at the monkey walk through a cartoon of a man missing a finger saying "Meet Norman nine fingers, (He tried to feed the monkeys). CLASSIC!!
