Spanish Adventures
Yep you read that right - I joined the gym. With all this food I've been eating I decided that I don't want to come home 5,000 pounds (2267 kg). I went for the first time yesterday and it's really really nice. They have locker rooms with showers, saunas, hair dryers, and a bunch of lockers where you can keep your stuff. The equipment is also really nice and apparently they have a spa. A big selling point for me though was the group classes (which are free) because I like having someone tell me what to do so I don't slack off.
I was supposed to go to spinning today but my ~siesta~ ran a little late so I missed it. Whoops. My friend told me though that she had no idea what the guy was saying and he looked like Pitbull so we'll see what happens next time.
Speaking of the food I still haven't eaten anything I don't like. The combinations are a little weird to me (yesterday we had asparagus with mayonnaise - it was good) but I'm definitely enjoying it. Today during one of our breaks during class I decided to walk and get something from the bakery. Well everything was ginormous so I decided to just get some bread. Turns out you get five breads for 1€ so I got five. Luckily I found some friends who wanted some so I didn't look like a wierdo walking into class with four french rolls. As you may have guessed the bread was really good.
The only benefit to living 20 minutes away from my class is that even if I don't go to the gym every day I'm still doing a lot of walking. According to my schnazzy watch I'm averaging about 12,000 steps a day so that's good.
Oh and as expected class has gotten much less exciting. But hey I'm not complaining.
