4 flights later we arrived in cairns, Australia yesterday morning. We were kindly picked up from the airport by jen's friend Izzy who has been living out here for the past 18 months. Whilst fighting the jet lag, we had a wander around cairns and got chatting to a few people along the way. We started making a few travel plans after speaking to a lovely German girl called ila who has done many of the things we want to do. An early night was needed to settle into aussy times then today we caught the bus into cairns and chilled by the lagoon with ila and her friend from the Czech Republic. Tonight we are having a BBQ, yum!
