Yesterday was a jam packed activities day in the rain forest near Cairns. We left at 6.30am to go wakeboarding and tubing with a group of 8 altogether. A local called Vern only charged us for fuel of the boat (10 dollars - bargain) as he just enjoys taking travellers out and teaching them to wakeboard. 4 flights later we arrived in cairns, Australia yesterday morning. We were kindly picked up from the airport by jen's friend Izzy who has been living out here for the past 18 months. Whilst fighting the jet lag, we had a wander around cairns and got chatting to a few people along the way.
