We left Brisbane at 6.30am, to begin our journey to Noosa. We stopped off on the way at Glass Mountains where we climbed another really steep hill to the top of the lookout. Our driver 'Knackers' taught us so many fascinating things about Aboriginal Culture. We heard a few stories that were taught to the Aboriginal children & it was then I realised how unfairly they have been treated. After our walk we got back on the bus and drove to Noosa. Noosa was definately a more upmarket Byron Bay with a really nice beach although it was too cloudy to really enjoy it.
The next day however, the weather was gorgeous. We took the shuttle bus to the beach and Arber rented a body board and the sun was shining. Although Arber was upset that there was no 'swell in the surf' we had a nice day chilling on the beach. The water was so still so Arber only managed to walk his body board around the sea. However on the plus side the still water meant that we could see fish swimming around by our feet. That evening we decided to have a night out in Noosa as we had met some really nice girls & Sam and Nick were staying aswell. We started the night by playing drinking games with around 4L of 'goon' and then went to Koalas bar and had a really good night.
Arber:
Dude the surf was like sooo flat man couldn't catch no waves man dude - I am now a hardcore surfer you see
Noosa was cool Knackers our driver was weird as hell but class when he picked us up he had a mullet on and a huge over hand and a bizzare hick nature luckly he was just joking around with us but there were moments of real panic as we just couldnt tell if thats what he was actualy like.
Ring of fire is an important rite of passage from any goon bearing traveller!!! MOOOSSSSSEEEE I will not explain unless you meet me with drinks and a pack of cards!
