Had a late start this morning so got to sleep in which was nice. Forgot to tell you about incident at the hotel bar the previous night. Liz was sitting at the bar talking to the guy next to her and the conversation turned to guns bit of a discussion but thank god no one said too much. As he was leaving he showed Liz the gun he had tucked into the back of his jeans. The NRA (national rifle association) had their annual convention. 70000 members were converging on Nashville. Lots of people we were talking to said there would have been a lot of people 'packing' in the city. Signs on a lot of the pubs saying NRA welcome. Anyway we went on the on/off trolley which took us past the Capitol and American Pickers and other places of interest. We then went to Honky Tonk Central and listened to the band and had lunch. Then went for a walk around and came across this amazing candy shop. I will upload a photo of the apples and the size of them covered in caramel and nuts. Then we went to Tootsies roof top Bar and the boys were talking to Bob from Kentucky who is usually 'packing'. He said it was $35 per year to be a member and Scott read that the NRA has 5 Million members. Out for dinner and then to a bar Benchmark that had a singer who looked like a duck hunter.
