The boys started early to go and pick up hire cars from the airport. Us girls had blueberry waffles and great conversation with Larry and 2 Aussies that arrived the night before. We packed up and headed off. To say there was some back tracking and getting lost would be and understatement. I think we crossed the Mississippi at least 4 times. We saw some prisoners working on the side of the road orange shirts and black and white pants. We crossed state line and moved from Louisiana into Mississippi.Visited the haunted Myrtle Plantation and ended up in Vicksburg for the night. Didn't look very inviting as we drove in but had a lovely dinner and drinks at a local restaurant. Our waiter Kirk was hilarious dubbed the southern Rodney Rude by Trevor because of his laugh.
